Die Standard-Edelstahlsorte. Gute Korrosionsbeständigkeit für die meisten neutralen und mild-aggressiven Medien. Weniger beständig gegen Chloride.
Bessere Beständigkeit gegen Lochkorrosion (u.a. Chloride, Meerwasser). Für aggressivere Medien meist die bessere Wahl. Nicht stabilisiert: auf Karbidbildung beim Schweißen achten.
Stabilisierter Edelstahl mit guter Korrosionsbeständigkeit und Festigkeit über einen breiten Temperaturbereich. Beständig gegen schweißbedingte Korrosion.
Nickel-Kupfer-Legierung (Monel-Typ). Häufig eingesetzt in maritimen und chemischen Anwendungen sowie bei Kontakt mit Chlor.
Vor allem dort, wo Funkenbildung gefährlich ist, und bei Meerwasser, das langsamer als 1 m/s strömt. Nicht verwenden bei Risiko von Flammenkontakt.
Eingeschränkt korrosionsbeständig. Geeignet für neutrale, nicht korrosive Medien und trockene Gase; nicht für Säuren oder Salzlösungen.
Achtung — Zink und Edelstahl: Über 450 °C (im Betrieb oder bei Brand) kann Zink austenitischen Edelstahl und Nickellegierungen schnell angreifen und spröde machen. Verwenden Sie daher keine verzinkten Fittings, geflochtenen Draht oder zinkhaltige Farbe in Kombination mit Edelstahl. Auch Blei und Zinn können ähnliche Schäden verursachen.
